One On 1.1

One On 1.1 is a series of dialogues between a solo instrument (or performer) and live electronics. This oeuvre is characterized by its wide range of compositional strategies, which range from guided improvisations to fixed scores, and which are tailored to suit different solo instruments. One On 1.1 seeks to create hybrid soundscapes that blend acoustic and electronic elements. The live electronics in these performances function as a “parasite” of the live instrument, modifying and sampling its sounds in real-time, aiming to create an engaging musical experience.
